|After Easter Feaster Committee
||The After Easter Feaster dinner/auction began in 2014 and is held the Saturday after Easter. The
committee plans and works the event each year.
|Cadets of St George/First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association
||The Cadets of St. George/First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association is a fraternal benefit society
formed to address the insurance needs of men and women of Czech and Slovak descent. FCSLA and its members
are actively involved in the Church, Catholic education, social and civic causes, and providing aid to
those in need. The association sponsors over $248,000 in annual scholarships for young members.
||Golden Friendships is an organization for senior citizens to visit and build community and is open to
both non-parishioners and parishioners. This group meets for a potluck on the third Thursday of the
month at 12 noon in Chihak Hall. Everyone brings a covered dish and dues are 50 cents per month.
After the meal, Bingo is played, with each person donating one item to be used for prizes.
|Goulash Day Committee
||The Goulash Day Committee plans Goulash Day and coordinates various associated committees
to make the day a success. The committee meets in late spring and summer prior to the day of the
event. Goulash Day is held the 4th Sunday of September.

||The Knights of Columbus Council 14952 of Immaculate Conception & St. Wenceslaus meets the
3rd Thursday of the month at 7 p.m. A rosary is prayed at 6:40 p.m. prior to the meeting. If
interested in joining, call John at 573-3064.
|Knights of Columbus
||The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with
1.6 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service
to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.
||Our Parish Nurses focus on balancing physical, emotional, spiritual, and social health by enhancing
healthy and healing relationships with God, family, and the faith community. Parish nurses also visit
parishioners in the hospital or at home, provide blood pressure screenings, and assist with health-
related questions and concerns.
|Saint Bridget’s Circle
||Saint Bridget’s Circle members provide funeral meals and also help prepare for Goulash Day. The
money they raise is used to purchase needed items for the parish. This circle meets twice a year for
|Saint Monica’s Circle
||Members of Saint Monica’s Circle meet for a potluck meal at 11:30 a.m. the first Sunday of the
month in Chihak Hall. A business meeting follows. This circle bakes kolaches as a fundraiser. The
money is used to purchase items needed in the parish. Group members also serve on the Goulash
|Saint Vincent DePaul Committee
||The Saint Vincent DePaul Committee members volunteer their time and talent at the Saint
Vincent DePaul Society. They provide assistance for people in need. They also volunteer in the
retail store, providing low cost household and clothing items.
|Stitchers and Knitters
||The Stitchers and Knitters group meets the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of every month in the Glovik
Parish Center from 1:00-3:00 p.m. The group makes quilts for various events including Goulash

||Our parish has on average 45 parishioners who are shut-ins, homebound, in nursing homes,
Hallmar or the hospital. During the holidays, Visiting Angels members make goodies, decorate the
plates, and then visit these parishioners, taking the goodies and greeting cards. At Christmas they
buy something special for each of them. Donations to the “Giving Tree” help fund this.
